North American Transit Historical Society, Inc, oPerating as Hoosier Traction Meet, is a not-for-profit educational organization (Section 501C(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code) devoted to the study of and dissemination of information regarding electric railways (street railway, rapid transit and interurban) within the UNITED sTATES AND CANADA.
2024 Meet - NATHS Hoosier Traction Meet 2024 will be held June 7, 8, & 9, 2024 at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, Washington PA. Hotel information is now available on the Meetings page. A Prospectus with Registration Form, and Schedule of Events is now available on the Meetings page.
NATHS exists to encourage study of the history, equipment and operation of urban, sub-urban and mainline electric railways. North American Transit Historical Society. is incorporated under the laws of the State of Indiana as a not-for-profit technical and educational society and is governed by a board of directors. In carrying out the Doc Blackburn's Hoosier Traction Meet's activities they are assisted by friends of the NATHS.
