North American Transit Historical Society is a not-for-profit educational organization (Section 501C(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code) devoted to the study of and dissemination of information regarding electric railways (street railway, rapid transit and interurban) within the UNITED sTATES AND CANADA.

NATHS exists to encourage study of the history, equipment and operation of urban, sub-urban and mainline electric railways. North American Transit Historical Society. is incorporated under the laws of the State of Indiana as a not-for-profit technical and educational society and is governed by a board of directors. In carrying out the Doc Blackburn's Hoosier Traction Meet's activities they are assisted by friends of the NATHS.
The 2021 Meeting was held at the Dayton OH Radisson Hotel. Our meeting was held August 20 - 21, 2021, and a schedule of events is available for viewing. You can view this and previous year's information via the Meetings page link.
